Coverage

The Commission has the authority to determine whether an entity is subject to the State Government Ethics Act, and does so utilizing non-exclusive criteria.

The Commission identifies and publishes a listing of all boards to which the State Government Ethics Act applies and a listing of the names and positions of all individuals who are covered persons or legislative employees.

State agencies and boards are required to periodically update the Commission as new covered persons are hired and appointed to covered boards.

Note: Lists present a snapshot of covered entities, covered persons and legislative employees on a specific day. People are added to and removed from these lists on a regular basis. For the most current information available, contact the Ethics Commission staff or the person's Employing Entity.

Covered Boards

The Commission must identify and publish, at least annually, a listing of all boards to which the Act applies.

Covered Persons

The Commission must identify and publish, at least quarterly, a listing of the names and positions of all individuals subject to Chapter 138A as covered persons or legislative employees.
