Candidate Filers
Candidates for judicial offices (District, Superior Court, and Appeals Court Judges; Supreme Court Justice; District Attorney; and Clerk of Court) and General Assembly (NC House and Senate) must file a Candidate SEI. The deadline for filing those SEIs was March 14, 2022. If you have not yet filed your candidate SEI please do so as soon as possible.
2022 SEI Long Form
For those candidates who did not file a 2021 SEI.
2022 SEI No Change Form
Those candidates who have filed a 2021 SEI as an individual who served in any covered position in 2021, may be able to file a 2022 No Change Form. This is the case if there were no changes to the information disclosed on the last SEI Long Form filed. Before filing a No Change Form please carefully review that Long Form.
Those Currently Serving in a Covered Position and Running for Office Satisfy Their Regular SEI Filing Requirement
If you are currently serving a a position which requires that you file a 2022 SEI you should file as a candidate and a current covered person, satisfying both the annual SEI filing requirement and the candidate filing requirement. However, in order to meet the candidate SEI filing deadline you must file your 2022 SEI no later than March 14, 2022, at noon.

Ensures immediate confirmation of your filing. In addition, all of the information on your SEI will be available in subsequent years, making refiling much easier.
Manual Filing
Manual 2022 SEI Available in early 2022.
Filers can print out a blank hard copy, complete the form by hand, sign and mail or hand deliver the original completed form to the Commission.
